So, who knows about anthrax?

I have taken an interest in Anthrax lately; before the late anthrax scare, I had never even heard of it. Does anyone have a link to a good resource site about Anthrax with regard to symptoms, etc as well as how it ties into the late terrorism?

I don't really have anything that will help...

But I found it slightly disturbing that through all of that crap...you really couldn't FIND anything about it...

All of the news reports were extremely vague... All of the stuff in the papers were extremely vauge... Any info I ever heard about it was all extremely vague...

How's anyone supposed to protect themselves if they won't even tell us what to expect?

And no...I'm not a paranoid alarmist... And none of it really scared me... But I thought that it wasn't handled as well as it should have been... The people need to be told everything they can in as much detail as possible... Instead of saying "if you have flu-like symptoms, you may have anthrax"... Or "it's a white powder"...

I mean, c'mon... I'm sure as hell there's a better description than that... Why do we need people going paranoid because they see donut powder on their table when anthrax may look completely different than powdered sugar...IF you knew what specific traits you were looking for...

It was very poorly handled in my opinion...

No, actualy, I think they wernt telling people enough and thats why they the guy who got arrested in texas for mailing a box full of powered sugar(i think), and wrote "carefull with the white stuff" on it was such a "Big" deal.

I bet the person he sent it to went around telling people that anthrax was almost sent to him

The government organization responsible for such things is the Centers for Disease Control...the very first link on their page is about Anthrax, and points here:
