Hacking

Ok, I know you probaly have seen this kind of post before, but it usually dont happen. My friend KnightRen was hacked of his game becuase someone acused him of using his Icons, but mostly he made and the ones he didn't were off rpg maker. His name was "RaeKwon" that is his key atleast and I dont think it is right for him to hack people for false info. and he knows he got hacked becuase his project files were tooken. I dont know the whole story but I just don't think it is right.

Im going to use this thread as a general notice then. It is NOT the responsibility of Dantom to protect you from hackers that threaten you through games, its the responsibility of yourself and or the owner of the game to prevent this. There is no point to posting anything about hackers on here, unless it is related to Dantom itself.

If you dont want people to hack you, get a firewall, its that simple. If you dont want people to spam your game, manually prevent it or use code to do it for you.

Its like asking the owner of C++ to stop people from running a certain compiler because they are using it to create email worms.

Being hacked is just a risk you take when you're dealing with things online, especially around a lot of computer savvy people. It's not dantom's responsibility to worry about things like this, it's yours, because you're the one using the internet.

Don't buy a car and blame the maker when someone crashes into you.

A precaustion to take which would make it harder for you to get hacked is blocking your IP address.
