I was recently talking to him on AIM and he kept asking for codes and I told him that I was busy which he did not take any notice of.

So I then told him to read more of the BYOND Language and how it is structured in the Guide, FAQ and Reference...and I also told him to look at the tutorial's...especially Zilal's.

Then he replied to me with this:
--------------------------------------
QuinnVegeta999: fuck you then PAL and thats what you are.... a fucking PAL pussy ass licker thank you for your help
QuinnVegeta999 signed off at 14:30:56.

This is all because I would not give him the exact code to make his "DBZ Game" say messages and have NPC's talking to the players and making them transport...

Why cant he just be like most of the other newbies I know that I help out?
They are very polite anddont mind waiting until I have finished but he doesnt want to...
Baby Vampire is a newbie at coding, like me, I admit to being a newbie coder, but he is very polite and patient whereas Black Mist demands and doesnt have patience to wait for me to finish with what I need to do...

I hope every newbie coder takes this into consideration because demanding is not a good option, whereas patience and taking time to read pays off well...

Its true i am amasing. Firstly I gotta say that Lee has helped me loads and is still helpin me loads on my game to be..

To all bad attitude newbies grow up or F@:" off.

I have done my best and not to ask and post with everyerror i come across i try and do it myself. But i do ask is how to start a bit of code and try to do it myself.
Failin that i ask. But i dont demand.

These peeps dont have to help and if they do count yourself lucky.

Very well said... and let me be the first to tell you that you've come a long way in the time that you've been here, both as a coder and as a person.
I've sort of adopted a newb too. Though, he's not really a newb any more... I can't call him one because I don't have the same knowlage that he does. He went in a very different direction of coding then I did, and learned a lot that I don't know yet. His key here is Sir Dustin...

It's fun to see people learn things!

Who was you talking to?

If it was to me I would like to thank you with all my heart because its very nice to hear things from such highly ranked coders such as yourself :)

Well, Black Mist does have a point. We aren't highly-ranked... I'm like you and you're like me, mostly. It's just that I have spent the time to learn it (just over two years, pretty much solid time). Thus, we're highly-skilled coders.

Sorry, I will keep that in mind then ok, sorry for the mistake :)

Not me, I'm just a somewhat-decent coder.

Sorry, I had to add that.

That is caused by the fact that today most 11-14 year olds, for some reason, think they are invincible gods and require respect and obediance. Hey speaking of gods, I dunno why I'm mentioning this, in 1 year ago in 6th grade I had a geography teacher and we were studieng roman (or greek, one of those) gods. someone asked "How did they come up with them" or something like that and she responded saying how they tohught gods made lightning happen and other stuff. I was thinking to myself if I should ask "Well, doesnt that sound like the gods today?". But I decided not to. probably as you can tell, Im not really religous.

I have done my best and not to ask and post with everyerror i come across i try and do it myself. But i do ask is how to start a bit of code and try to do it myself.

That is the best thing someone new to ANYTHING can do. Try to find things out first and if it doesnt work no matter how many times it's changed, rewrite it. I've done this and it works better than asking for code and trying to figure it out that way.

Or they may just be bored :)
