I wholeheartedly beg to differ. Hey, if people keep buying it, they'll keep making it. Though personally I think people who are anti-Microsoft are nerds, but oh well (not because I like Microsoft, but because they actually give a damn about which OS is best, to be honest I don't even know of any other OS's other than Windows). |

Hey, if people keep buying it, they'll keep making it. Unfortunately, MS is so aggressive in market dominance, most people have little choice. Though personally I think people who are anti-Microsoft are nerds, An accusation I happily accept. However, I'm not all that anti-Microsoft. MS has a few good products. NT 4.0 is very stable. but oh well (not because I like Microsoft, but because they actually give a damn about which OS is best, to be honest I don't even know of any other OS's other than Windows). With your permission I will enlighten you: DOS (most obviously), Unix (and variants), Linux (in many, many forms), BSD (also in several forms), OS/2, BeOS, Mac's OS X (which is based off of BSD), Plan 9 (really obscure, but it springs to mind for some reason), AtheOS (cool name, but little else, I believe) etc, etc, etc.. There are literally tons. -AbyssDragon |

Are you smoking something you shouldn't be Lexy? I think you hit the wrong thread. =) |

Hey, if people keep buying it, they'll keep making it. Oh yeah, I lied about why I think anti-Microsofters are nerds. It's actualyl cause I think half the people who say it are just jumping on the band wagon so to speak. And people only to that to be accepted amongst their peers. So to do that with a computer company is pretty nerdy. Not htat thats a bad thing... if you like wedgies. (Fact: New Zealand is a wedgie free country, almost). |

Think of that phrase as a brain-washing mantra, and its placement will make sense. You have been smoking! =) |
Oceania is at war with East Asia. Oceania has always been at war with East Asia. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot disk stamping on a penguin and an apple--forever. |

Very little MS has ever made could be said to "kick ass," and most definately not XP. No one needs menus that span half way across the screen. No one needs stupid little login icons. No one needs a massive CPU/memory hog program that only exists to run other programs. Does MS not understand what an OS is supposed to do?
