Host..

I've hosted before, but there's a new problem when I try to host on a new comp (I just got it)

When I go to "Dream Daemon" and click on the file to host, it appears as if I'm hosting it, but it doesn't appear to be hosting.. and people cannot join the game.

I try hosting it on "Dream Seeker" and it appears online (the messages show at start-up) but it's not really online.

Can anyone help me?

If other people can't join, it's probably a router or firewall problem. Look up your router's company and model on this site and it will tell you how to forward ports: http://www.port-forward.com/. After you forward a certain port or range of ports, host on that port/range of ports.(If it's a range of ports, host on a port within the range.)

Well no, although I did think that originally.

But when I enter a different window, and try to get the game on another account of mine (byond) then I get the:

"Connection Closed" thing on the new window I'm trying to open, not the old one.

That means some code is auto-kicking you out because if it was a port problem or something, it would have said "Connection Failed.". So check with the coder.
