I was wondering if you can make a game splitscreen. like you and your friend both control sperate mobs each with their own stats and controls for moving both on the same dreemseeker window at the same time, like on many consle games. Or maybe not splitscreen, but 2 controlable mobs on the same screen. I think the best way to do this however is to maybe make the second screen like a radar hud panel that would show the icon and icons around the second controlable mob and control it using macros while the other mob is using the normal screen. The problem with this however is that the first player would have to be in the center of the screen not a side, so maybe both players' screens have to use the same macro/radar system. Another problem this faces is making the radar show the icon and icons around the mob and follow it as it moves. I think it's possible, but I know I cant code this completely (or very much for that matter) so maybe you can help me out?

For two people sharing a view, just change client/eye so that it is at an appropriate place between the two mobs, and when they try to get too far apart for that to work either disallow further movement in opposite directions or let or the other actually move off of the view.
For a split-screen with multiple views, one can be done with the normal, default view, but the others will have to be done with the client/screen list and/or image objects. |
