Uploading Files and saving then to a server..

Ok, I had an idea.
I want to upload a file, and then save it to a central directory on the server(Shell server, so I have it always).

I know how to upload the files, but how would I go about saving them?

I know how to save files, but I suspect this would be different?

It's as simple as saving the list they are in.
