So anyway, while I'm working on the huge "Teh Blobz" update, I realize that the current "levels" in the game are a bit "dull". It got me thinking: What kind of levels interest gamers? I plan on re-doing the 3 levels already in the game, and I definately want to think over the other two I had planned for the Beta Release.

Anyway, I got to thinking of different types of levels in a game. I came up with a few concepts, but I'd like to know: What makes a dungeon crawling experience fun for you guys?
If you are talking about the mapping, as long as it's maze-like, I usually don't mind if it's player build etc. If it has "bosses", it tends to be better player build, though.

As I said in my big review thing, I don't really like big open areas very much. It takes challenge out of finding where to go.
Well, like Kunark said, but I don't want a huge boring maze, I want it mixed around with puzzles mostly, fun puzzles at that. =p
