I can get the music to change when a user enters a new area but the old music keeps playing too how do i stop it playing and just play the new music alone?

you probably have a ,1 at the end of the wav or midi definition, adding a 1 makes it keep playing, make sure there isn't any numbers like that after the sound file.

there is but the idea is that a different song plays continously depending on what area you are in
