i recently started looking through all the sci-fi series that i have watched, and noticed that only one actually has/shows something that is vital to humans ... a BATHROOM!!!
sg-1 in one episode mentioned it

Mal was just finished using the bathroom in Firefly's pilot episode, Serenity. And you see sinks, baths, and showers in any number of Star Trek episodes. Who wants to watch people sitting on the shitter in a sci-fi show, though?

<_< you see varius sinks and showers and such however unlike that firefly ep they never either mentioned it or showed any real bathrooms (considering that bathrooms are actually ROOMS not indentations in walls)

In Next Gen the sinks in quarters slid out of the walls to save space, in rooms that were clearly bathrooms. It follows that the toiletes would do the same, ala what you actually do see in Firefly.

SG-1 though mentions of a bathroom on a alien ship. Yes Star Trek and Firefly might have some of those things, possiobly, I wouldn't know cause I am not into those shows. Anyway, those were all "human" ships while in Stargate SG-1, it was a alien ship that a race called the Goa'uld had. So this is the first time an alien ship had a bathroom, or at least mentioned.

oddly enough stargate loves to talk about bathrooms usually it has oniell in with it too i guess oniell just loves to talk about bathrooms
