Attempting to hack save files in order to unfairly gain advantage above other players is n00bish... Asking the public in hopes of learning how to hack save files in order to unfairly gain advantage above other players is even more n00bish... even if you are the host.
EDIT: If you really want to hack save files make a new enviroment and paste this and run it: mob/Login() //If you can't login Jk... But I wouldn't recommend hacking save files. That's just lame... o.o You already have an advantage if you are the host. You get more time to level up etc. if you play the game offline. (Might be kinda boring though...) then when you host it you have a headstart on your character. And you get one special skill noone else on the server has, it is called "Boot". |

you are missing an advantage that this could have, the host of a server could (at best) restore a person's invitory or save file

The only reason i see a purpose is to run a specific test scenario for testing a game

The answer is: What the hell? Why would you want to edit .sav files, where would you be downloading them from? You could try opening them in notepad if you had to edit them.
