MouseEntered()...?

Is there a feasible way to use MouseEntered() or a related proc to show something other than an atom's name in the status bar?

I know, but that's the command prompt, I meant that status bar below the command line that reports an atom's name when you mouseover it.

If it worked well, I'd suggest:

<code>turf/MouseEntered() src.name = new_name</code>

But it responds very slowly, and the original text is still there for a moment before it changes.
