I see games like DBO and DMO with names under the players, how do you do that?, check out my Turf to obj problem in the Code forum

With pixel_x, pixel_y, overlays, and a font icon. The simplest what is to use a premade text library like my sd_Text or Lummox JR's DmiFonts.
