Well, I was browsing through the BYOND Unpublished today, most of the games are: Dragon Warrior, DBZ, chat & build, Final Fantasy, or another RPG. I would like to see something original. Maybe a new sports game or something. Or a racing game(Not like the FAF games, but a completely new idea).

I'd love to see a fighting type game. Mortal Kombat or something. Tekken, Ultimate Fighter, or anything cool. I'm going to be working on a fighting type game soon.

Or even a sports game. Something like pool. I was watching ESPN 2 at about 5:00 am yesterday, they were showing the formulas used to calculate the precise way to shoot a bank shot. It was pretty interesting, and then WALAH! I thought about byond o.O.

I'm really into sports, so I'd love to see them. Why not a Byond Basketball? That'd be pretty cool to do. Definitely original. The only basketball game on byond was deleted (was created by Canar). He had it good (used the bump proc a lot), but the icons were not that great. The gameplay was awesome, though.

Another excellent thing I'd love to see is more arcade games. I only know of a few that are on byond right now. Arcade games wouldn't be too hard to create, but I can see some problems the programmer might/might not have.

Maybe something like a "Sims" type game(created by Maxis). That'd be pretty cool, but be sure not to make it all building. We have enough of those. More relationships, and a lot of AI.

I've given this probably just as much thought as you, because I agree we need some more fun games. Another thing that has crossed my mind.. Why not create these as isometric 3-D? That would be a great addition for byond. It's not that hard to create them if you know what you're doing. Cryptic is very good with isometric 3-d.
