ok I'm trying to display an image on statpanel

by this...

if(blah)
src.gimage=image('9.dmi',usr)

then puting in the stat [src.gimage] I don't have to post the stat stuff because I know how to do it I'm just wondering how I sohuld store the image in the variable so it shows...
