Descriptive Problem Summary:
Using blur filter cuts off the edge of the filter too soon at larger sizes (4 - 6)
I use 6 as the upper limit on this, because the reference refers to it as the upper limit on cheat-free rendering, so I naturally expected a consistent result for values up to 6.

Actual Results:
Things are blurry, until they're really blurry, and then the edges of the blur just stop. No more blur. just clean line.
