Murder at Sea is a Clue based game. A murder has been committed upon a ship; each of the four players is trying to find evidence to prove who committed the crime. Evidence is hidden in objects among the ships five floors. Each player starts out on a different floor of the ship. When a player thinks they have solved the mystery they can simply type “PlayersKey committed the murder!” If the player solved the mystery this ends the game and a new round can begin.
But now I am faced with a few design dilemmas. The major one is how turns should be handled. I was thinking that players get 30 seconds to check 3 objects. Does anyone have any better ideas?
The second problem is how clues are given from an object. I was going to make where players answered some questions and these answers would be used to help identify the murder. Does anyone have a better idea?
All comments are much appreciated.
