Screen Resolutions

Me and Airjoe differ on screen sizes for the pokemon game.
I feel like that it should be like the original gameboy games, and have a smaller screen size, airjoe feels like the game should be "maximized" to it's full potential.

Which one do you like?

I myself would go with a larger screen view because having a 1280x800 wide-screen the average games on byond only really uses less then a quarter of my screen it would be good idea to have both of your ideas and make a verb to alter your screen size.

Honestly, the larger screen size would be better. Sure, the smaller size fit the GameBoy, but, it would be annoying to use on BYOND.

Small screen sizes are especially annoying, and I didn't like the small size of the Game Boy screens, so go with a big screen.

If you guys can scale all the combat icons so they look nice and no black shows up on a bigger screen, do it. But otherwise, go with a smaller screen.

This can be a tough decision. If you are porting this to BYOND, it can mean a big difference when going through those maze-like caves and such, but I'm sure that's only a small price to pay.

It also might be harder to draw the battle screen similarly to the Gameboy. I, for one, thought the Gameboy's screen was fine, but I'm not near-sighted or anything.
