Base my game on the BYOND Key System or make it so you can access ANY account on ANY key, by providing a registration system on the title screen? ofcourse in HTML with verification email and stuff

sounds good. but then how are you going to do banning(making it IP based?), AND, there's always the problem of people managing to guess another person's password and managing to change the password before the other person notices... and there are many other problems with this... HOWEVER, its perks go a long way. I say you go with it and see how it effects the way people play you game before making any decisions to get rid of it

I can always IP ban them even though they use accounts, and the problem with the password hacking, same with BYOND keys =P, ill give it a try, gotta brush up on my BYOND CGI and HTML though, I can always try to make a 'Verify New Password on ur email' System.... it will be hard though
