I decided to create a Naruto Game. I went into Naruto Online once, to only find out it well...wasn't very good.
Anyway, Any ideas on how I would let the players learn new Jutsus? I really don't have any other ideas, exept to buy scrolls with the Jutsus on them, and learn then after having certain stats..
Any input?

What about mini gmaes for training or something. That woudl be different I guess.
|
Is it like a skill? Maybe they can research them, or seek out ancient masters and learne them. Alternately, you could have them learn advanced techniques after mastering basic techniques (say you get Basic to 70-80%, it might open up Advanced).
|
A Jutsu is basically a 'magic technique'. Like creating a bunch of clones of yourself to help fight or spitting fire.
|
Why not just make training quests? Ie, you go up to your instructor. Your instructor tells you to do something (ie, use the 'training' version of the technique a hundred times in under twenty minutes). Then when you're done you'll know the technique (or maybe get another mini-quest or mini-game you learn the technique).
You could even factor certian stats such as Chakra control into the mini games. Having certian hi/lo stats would make the game easier/harder. |
