He doesnt mean it in that way, he actually wants it released to help learning and besides, none of the games are complete the ripper would ACTUALLY have to code something. Which is good enough if you ask me. Because most people who will rip a game cant code for crap.

Yes, you could do that. But why not make a system that would not require recompiling? Use script files to create objects at runtime, as well as maps. You could use script files for almost every spect of the game. Much like many popular game (UO private servers had this ablility, most FPSs do, our something close).
