My self, I moved away from AD&D to GURPS - a bit more basic in the stats and combat system, which forces you and the GM to do more role-playing...

GURPS is like the BYOND of pen-and-papers... the ultimate flexible system, which allows game mechanics to range from horrendously complicated to stunningly simple, from purely cinematic to totally realistic. Back in college, the heyday of my roleplaying, I liked to frighten fellow players by making out completed character sheets for wholly original characters without recourse to book or electronic aid. I can still do it, unless I need to get into robotics, advanced martial arts, or magic.

"Hey.. Zilial..." said the dark eyed boy named Ter.

"WHAT!?!" Screamed the evil monster named Zilial.

"Where do you live?" asked Ter.

"Why?" asked the monster in return.

"Because... Beacuse I want to give you a coooooooookie." said Ter innocently as he strapped a shotgun onto his back, and sheathed his flaming sword.

onw word: FAN.
ONe thing people are missing is TRANSMUTATION, the ability to change one thing to another, most people prefer metacreativity. which can only be used to make. I also prefer the ability to destroy. Transmutation is the process of turning like objects into one another, let's say you want food, you find a living organism, and can turn it into a burger, or a chipmunk into a squirrell, or a fox into a stoat, etc. as well as being able to turn air into eart, or earth into air, creating pits, turning water into pepsi, oxygen into chlorine gas, for a quick execution, etc.
If I had any major talent when I was born, it would have to be the ability to erase all major talents in the world.

Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.

Considering I haven't posted anything, figured I should. The creation ability would by far be the most superior. I used to think invisibility or teleportation? No way. Just create a invisibility field or basic teleportation remote!

Once you can create anything in existance that you want, life starts to get a bit boring. :P

Hee... that reminds me of a joke me and my ex-girlfriend Suzan had, when she was a camp counselor.

At least, I think it was a joke.
