As I sit in the office, doing my time, an idea popped into my head. Of course, creativity is so rare for me that it must have been a gift from Ethan, the Wintereenmas King.
It is a basic game idea, which probably wouldn't work on BYOND. You play as a paperclip archer in the paperclip army. Recently, your Box has been running low on their binding quota because of a new enemy to hit the desktop: El Stapler. Without meeting your binding quota, your Box is in danger of being wipped off the desk entirely! You, as an archer in the paperclip army must defend your territory from the evil stapler before binds all paper products.
Ok, so the idea needs work. The biggest problem I see is making into a full fledged game. I mean, sure, a boss fight with the stapler would be fun, but it is hardly a full games worth of play. I guess you could have waring paperclip boxes, non-skid vs normal paperclips. Also, there would have to be many unit types, and possibly vehicles created out of office supplies.
OK, the idea sounds loony, but if I could pull it off...

Maybe take away the Archer part of it, and just make it something like a foot soldier, or maybe special forces. But other than that, I like the idea. Sounds like something that I would play, and if you were to build up open the plot, and battles, it might be worth playing.

Well, the archer idea came from these really sweet paperclip+rubberband bows I made in highschool. They were far better than spitballs. I guess it could have a class selection, allowing you to be a few different types of paperclip men.

Ah, I see your angle. Well, you could have different classes of archers, i mean, not all archers are the same, and not all bows are alike, nor do they do the same thing.
