Against it.

I found this on a Bulletin Post on my Myspace page from a friend. We got to do something about this guys. I posted this as an announcement because this is EXTREMELY important.

If any of you out there are my friends, I ask you out of the kindness of my heart to repost this. If you're not my friend, I ask you search for the source compassion in your soul and repost this anyway. More importantly, if you're in a position to, DO something about it.



This is about California legislation being passed to exterminate pit bulls. If it passes in California, it could be on it's way to anywhere. Someone has to try to make a difference...what if it were your pet?



It would be great if Myspace could be used for something good other than getting dates. Please pass the word along and post this...so as many people can see this as possible. If you saw this anywhere else besides Myspace, PLEASE show this to your family and friends so THEY will show it to others.

ALTHO i dont contend to there action of murdering dogs, it is still murder on any level, but if a owner raises a dog to be a savig then the owner should be tried and the dog attemdted to be made less agressiv to the point it isnt a danger to humans, yes a dog is ment to be " Mans best friend" yet some owners raise there pets to be savages, that isnt on, those who raise there dogs correctly and to the point were they only PROTECT life and not take it within a household should be allowed to keep there dog, we live within a SICK sasiaty, and the laws that goven us are flawed upon so many levels, if u kill a dog, its murder, so now, dose that count if they begin to murder these dogs because there bread to be savages, or dose it not come into effect? end result is the same, murder is murder no matter what you kill, so if they begin to murder the dogs, they should be sent to jail and trailed for murder, yet we all know it wont happen , because its to do with the goverment and crap

I'm not saying I'm for this bill, but how would people feel if all those pictures were of Pitbulls mauling people rather than sitting next to babies?

Though the pitbull I had killed 3 cute kittens and bit my leg....

The bill won't pass.

If it DOES, then they would have to kill blacks because the generalized stereotype of black people being gangsters and murderers. Can't forget Italians, too. They're all in the mafia. Mexicans? Gangs. White people? Insane murderers. Why not go ahead and pass a law to just exterminate everyone?

Rottweillers are more aggressive by nature than Pitbulls, what're they doing about them?

Then again... California laws can get odd. Such as their death sentence for people whom attempt suicide...

Turns out, the city council can define any dog as vicious, and any dog over 40 lbs has a very high probability, possibly even 25 lbs and higher. Even some toy dogs (Pomeranians, Pugs, etc...) can be exterminated because there have been reported attacks.

Turns out that people would also be incapable of getting insurance if they have what is defined as a "vicious dog", even if you didn't raise it to be so. (Heck, it could have neither teeth nor claws and it's still vicious. It'll gum your leg off.)

It already has been passed in California. It is not killing animals, it is about spaying and neutering the animals in question, not just pit bulls.

If so, then I am relieved to hear it. I'm actually glad to see there aren't any negative comments because there is ALWAYS some random person that would say something along the lines of "Who cares about dogs? They should die." just to simple it down.

I care for these animals and my best friends girlfriend has a Pitbull of her own and is in love with that Dog. If it were to be killed, there's no doubt in my mind that it would hurt her for a long time.

Anyway, for those who see this post and think to themselves "Not THIS again." since it seems to have been around, then I also apologize for that. It just recently came up as a Bulletin Board Post from a friend of mine on Myspace and I thought it was just happening so I was going to take action against it and that's what I tried to do.
