Adding an image of a different layer to an atom's overlay causes the layer of the atom to change to that of the image. Is that normal?
eg- A turf has layer=2.I add an image of layer=5 to its overlay, this causes the turf's layer to be equal to 5.
I don't want that, any workaround?

Is it actually changing the layer variable to 5? Or is it just visually displaying the turf as if it was on layer 5?

Are you sure that's what you're actually seeing? The overlay itself will obviously be on layer 5 but the actual turf shouldn't pull forward. The only thing that should impact the layering of turfs is if big icons are involved. Big turfs will pull themselves forward over other turfs on their same layer so they'll be visible, but overlays shouldn't impact that behavior IIRC.
Except when you're using FLOAT_LAYER, the layer of an overlay is absolute, not be relative to its base. Lummox JR |

Ohh sorry to bother, It was a minute careless mistake.
Retried it in a fresh new Project, things were ok. Sorry for wasting time and some space on the forums. >.> |
