I think that the BYOND Worlds should be more community oriented, but what do I mean by that exactly?
When launching the pager, and going into your Control Panel, you should be able to see what users are connected to the game your playing, and be able to add any of those people to your friends list. I like the idea of having the pager get an update to display avatars, and provide a bit more information about your "friends".
I wanted to be able to add a game I was playing to my favorites list, but I didn't realize that there was a link to do just that in my BYOND's control panel, I would like to see that area expanded to being able to do more.
I'm also a tad confused about "watching a game in the pager" and "having it in your favorites" and "joining the waiting list", they all seem to be the same feature, perhaps have those be renamed / better described their uses?

In my experience they are 3 separate, useful options. I can understand automatically watching a game if I'm in its waiting list, but the opposite is not true. If I'm watching servers, I don't want others to assume that I'm jumping at the chance to play. Meanwhile, I don't want what I'm curious about to be confused with what I'm pimping through my site and my rank votes.

Doesn't all that seem a little unnecessary though? I wouldn't think so, no. "having it in your favorites" You can select a maximum of 10 favourites, which will an impact on "ranking" of games in searches. "watching a game in the pager" If you are interested in more than 10 games (like me) and yet want to watch them, this is the feature to go for. Another useful point of this feature are "beta" releases of games. While you might not feel the game is stable enough to justify boosting its rank in a search, you might still want to watch it (e.g. open beta testing should maybe not appear high up on a published games list). "joining the waiting list" This feature comes handy when you want to play a game that requires multiple players. You can see when people are waiting (=willing to play) this game and join in. |

This adds the game to your pagers watch list and your BYOND Blog Favourites list.
This sends you a page when the game you're watching comes online. I assume it'll also send you a join link.
