Please add a "Search" or "Go" button on the search bar, for the people who are less fortunate and do not have an Enter Button.
also, add a search bar to the Pager. >_>

I didn't ask for your life story! I asked for the programmers of the BYOND Website, and BYOND to add a "go" or "Search" button.

As A.T.H.K said, even really old devices like the Commandore 64 had an "enter" key, so the odds of someone not having one is pretty low. 3) If you don't have a problem with the search feature, and you don't know squat about the history of keyboards, why are you posting with this inane request here in the first place? | |
I still would like a Search button added so that people might have a better chance of knowing how to submit stuff in the forum search.

I don't see a reason for a search button as it'll just make the layout uglier as far as I see it. Generally people already know how to do a forum search, they're just too lazy to actually make one.

Since this thread is degenerating into ridiculous flames, I'm going to close it right now. Shame on most of you guys for turning a simple request into a flame war.
In likelihood, I doubt Lummox JR, Tom, or Mike H will implement this, but rest assured that they'll read this post and they might slip it in all the same. If the appropriate buttons pop up on the site, I figure that's a strong indication that they implemented it. If they don't, then they didn't. | |
And most keyboards have two return/enter buttons laptops have one maybe two with the FN feature.
Even a commodore 64 has a enter/return button unless you are using a mobile phone or something of that nature psp wii etc whats the point of adding one whats the benefits of searching on your portable/stationary device with no return/enter button not like you will download libs/demos/games on a wii now is there?.
If you broke the two buttons buy a new keyboard they are like what 4 us $?
