As many users have noted, it's a bit of a pain to get in contact with most BYOND users. The pager is there, but most of us aren't sitting at a PC that has the pager installed, and it can still be hard to get a hold of users if they aren't sitting at their PCs at the time.

So I got to thinking. What does BYOND need to allow users to communicate effectively to allow for the most productivity? First off, web based. The pager area on the "My Home Page" section helped, but you still can't page offline users, add users to your pager list, or page users who aren't on your pager list. And, if you want to page multiple users, then you can't without doing each one manually.

What I would like is all the functionality of the pager, as well as "paging lists" for things like guilds. Let's say I want to page everyone with Helper rank or higher on BYOND Help. Suppose I'm changing some rules and want everyone to know, and make it hard for them to overlook/miss it. As it stands, all I can do is make a post on the private forums and hope that the helpers notice it. Pager lists would allow me to quickly send a message to all helper and above, no fuss.

Just some thoughts. It might be the way the website is going already, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
