In the BYOND icon desinger it would be nice to have a lasso tool. It would make some aspects of editing an icon for like a head.
Ex: Billy is making a rock concert guy icon. He has the walking states for it but wants to add in a head bang. When he makes the head move down in the case of Billy's base its chin overlaps a part of its chest making you moving a part of its shoulders down and then having to move them back up fixing any damage done to the icon's state.
With the lasso tool little billy could have easily just selected the head and moved it down without taking the shoulders down with it.

If you want it really easy just use an external, proper image editor and edit the icons as PNG format. Much easier, and saves them programmer guys the trouble of adding more unnecessary features.

True but in my expirience thus far I see byond's editor as the best for small images.

Yes, it is pretty good, but a lasso for only 32 pixels? It really isn't needed that badly.
