Unpublished was removed a long, long time ago. Even from the old site. It's just a matter of looking. Everything is easier to find if you take the time to explore the site.

[Edit]
If you're searching for new games to play, look around the Creations and Community forums. Generally people post their new games and what-have-you in those areas.

And I want ten million dollars. Pay me, and I'll persuade Tom to change it back.

The unpublished section was officially removed a while back. You were probably using a link which was circulated around it's removal which cheated the hub into displaying all the games by their channels. This is constituted as a work around, not "it still exists".

Mellow out, it's not so bad at all. Developer-wise, everything is much, much neater. And now, everything is easier for the BYOND top guys to manage. So they'll be able to work more on the software allowing developers to release better quality games.

ok first off 10 million are you kidding me dude i already told you 150K divided by 10 15K is more money then i make

second of all ive made and making games to (ideas not so original coding all mine)

third ive played these better quality games your talking about old school games like castle and mystic journey have no major bugs but newer games are effected by the so called icon swap bug ( i call it black out bug since most of the time my screen goes black except maybe a few icons)

and final work arounds or not i could still view unpublished games if i can view it ITS NOT GONE but now its gone there no way for me to view it or not

The reasoning Unpublished games was removed:
  • People like Yurgeta were removing their hub entries because of a bad review they'd been receiving. The removal of unpublished is partially to affect those kind of people.
  • Nobody will complain about the anime games on there or why they're not properly listed.
  • Newbies to BYOND won't get caught up in those unpublished games anymore.
  • The underpants gnomes told them to do it, so they could get the cash required to put up the BYOND Gaming Fund.

  • Besides, you can already access this list, sort-of. Goto the "Games" menu and hit "All": it will display all games. I think there might even be a way to strip out all games belonging to the official guilds, leaving you with only "unpublished" games.

yes about the viewing all i know i can view them all thus viewing games hosted not belonging to a guild and i am also trying to find a way to strip out all games belonging to a guild ive received a few pages from friends that were mad because they couldnt view the part of byond where they normally hung around (meaning the unpublished section of byond) but the main reason im mad is because all of my games were in the unpublished section and now i can zip right over there to see if any are hosted

i know the new website is for the better but still change is hard to except for alot of people :( and i liked the old website so much it was so much easier

Change isn't always bad.

2000: George W. Bush is elected president.
But sometimes it is.

and what happened when hitler took power THINGS CHANGED if things didnt change the first time there would be no need for it to change the second time the second change was only to correct the first change which didnt make things as good as it was befor the first change SO CHANGE IS BAD!

Ok, it was fun for the first five seconds.
Progress is change.
Stop arguing, there not going to change it.

And then after everyone complained about it, they put back an official listing for unpublished. It wasn't the hacky URL workaround, it was a real listing.

sage im sorry im not arguing im just posting the fact is i like just about everything thats happened from the paying developers (even if its pennys they would add up) to giving non members a little more power but to find someone who likes everything that changes when a change this big (from powers being upgraded to money being given to the skin of a website being changed) to find someone that likes everything is really hard i just would like alittle help figuring out this new website thats what this post started as and i guess is what itll finish as
