"Nagle's algorithm is a means of improving the efficiency of TCP/IP networks by reducing the number of packets that need to be sent over the network. It is named after John Nagle, who devised it whilst employed at Ford Aerospace." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagle's_algorithm

Being a player of World of Warcraft, I picked this up as fast as I could to read about it as it's being disabled in its systems and through a patch. From what I understand, this algorithm sends packets in bigger and defined 'chunks' of data, overall improving efficiency. Disabling this is supposed to make things faster. I have tried it, and tested it, and that case is true with World of Warcraft.

Such may or may not be true for BYOND. I have no idea if this has already been done, talked about or anything but searching the forums yielded no results.

Anyone have something to say about this? Comments would be greatly appreciated.
