When I open 4.0 to any game, the main screen is much bigger, and usually stretches the game. For the games that are ran in the view = 6 it does make them look glitchy. So I was wondering could you have a 32x32 Skin added so people don't have to mess around with the skin customizer?

Thanks, but alot of people are not going to be open to doing anything to the skin, so a button in the skin customizer for Classic Skin would be nice. Also a Button with Default to use the current 4.0 Skin. That way people have the choice between them, and customize the way they want.

Unfortunately that doesnt quite get the job done, lol

You could modify the default skin yourself and give them that skin. Or just tell your players to click Icons -> 32x32 if they don't want the view to be stretched. Or make your own skin with 4.0.

I think you might just have to call this one a sacrifice for progress. Either you get new features with 4.0 that are way better but not compatible with the old stuff, or you have them making all old feature totally compatible, which means much slower production and more restrictions on new features.
One of the best aspects of 4.0 is getting rid of all the old restrictions, so now they're much more free to do fresh development than they used to be. So the disadvantages of losing things like the old layouts is far outweighed by the advantages. |

Unfortunately you'll have to do this every time you reconnect, but you can use Jon88's skin (Abhishake posted the link) to use it permanently. |
