this my not effect much people but y is the size of the banner 250X60 and the hub icon 64X64 ??/ if we could set them to 250X60 and 60X60 that would cut down on he time that a graphic artist has to resize an image is he is working form banner to hub icon which is the best way to do it. just a thought.
HUD icon is the size of 4 32x32 tiles, which I like. In my opinion, th banner should be in multiples of 32 as well...

but tiles and banners have absloutly nothing to do with each other >.> so y should they be related

why else... so you can tile DM icons into them!

I really don't know. It just seems more logical to have everything as multiples of a base unit.

Plus, they are small enough already, and they work. No need for change.

its not the size is the issue but if you work form banner to hub icon u will need to redo your image and increace it by 4 pixles (that time could be used some were else)just a little thingy i say y is the banner 4 frigin pixles small dam it.

Then stretch it out in a program such as PhotoShop, Paint, or Paint Shop Pro.

i use photoshop and streching thought not hard and very little distorton occours iam still puzzled y byond would no just make the mesurements the same ..... that extra 5 seconds ( 3 srtching my ass and 2 clicking the button could be used else were)
Why would you be using the same image for both?

I design using photoshop. Why the hell design a banner/hub icon for byond, its so annoying being so small. Stick with wallpapers and other things. I also doubt anyone was a ton of banners that are 3px bigger, so no need to resize it just because one person is too lazy to add a few extra pixels. Just make a border! A 3px border takes up 3 pixels. No need to resize anything.

Originally the banner was supposed to be an advertisement for the game, while the hub icon was supposed to be kind of like a screenshot of the game (not that anyone follows that idea). So the two aren't supposed to be based on the same image.
