I think BYOND should get provide an e-mail service.

I doubt you can do it, because of spaces, and stuff, but you could reduce it to ckey.
I just think that would be cool. =)

It would be cool, but there's two reasons I don't see it happening anytime soon.
First, it's a lot of trouble just having to deal with the amount of pager abuse, e-mail abuse would be much worse. Second, BYOND needs to start making money and e-mail is a good way to send your bandwidth costs sky high. | |
Currently the @byond.com addresses are used for more official purposes. There have been talks in the past of setting up a new domain for something like this (but it wouldn't be free!).

Also, if you want a BYOND e-mail, just go to zzn.com It allows you to create your own e-mail service: [email protected] And you can pay to get rid of the 'zzn' part. | |
If the domain already exists the zzn service can't very well use that domain for your email, it's impossible unless the owner of the domain specfically sets it up.
