Trouble Shooting Byond start-up, PLEASE HELP!

My FRIEND is trying to log into a game. He goes down to join game, then clicks open. But instead of logging him in it asks him to retrieve a recent key or create a new one. He does this and tries again and the same thing happens over and over again. He has a key, and has downloaded BYOND. Does anyone know what to do?

No, you retrieve your key with the "Retrieve existing key" option, type in your Key and Password.

He does that and it says there is either a prob with his network connection or the B-Hub is down. But he can play other online games like runescae with no problem.

I am having the same problem with my byond key but it worked out when i made a new one my key was acejames1111
i would like to get it back i have stuff on that key that i would like to have back
it was saying that login was restricted on my login key maybe you should try to make a new one
