The left arm(Right arm on the frontal perspective) is pulled inwards away from the player thus blocking it from view. Though it's held outwards in the south icon_state, that creates the uneven/non-symmetrical look the north icon_state has. So try pulling the left arm off more to the left like the mob in the south icon_state's right arm; Think as if it's standing in front of a mirror. As for the hands being to big, trying holding out your entire hand across your face(Which you can do safely without someone smacking your hand into your face haha). As you now can see from that, your head is only a few inches bigger; So decreasing it's size is very hard since your working with such a small image. Though you can pull off decreasing the size of the hand furthest away from the player ~1 pixel creating depth. Also(Again imagining it's in front of a mirror) the north icon_state's right foot should have the same angle as the front sides left foot(An acute angle at ~46-89 degrees).
I really hope I helped, after years of dedicated membership to the PAS(Well now it's the BYOND Art Society I guess) i've very rarely ever seen any anatomically-correct bases, which is what I always make. So I want your mobs' base to look as good as possible 'cos maybe it'll inspire the artists of the last 300+ 'Anime' bases, to draw their new ones with realism('Cos maybe they don't know how to make them since only like 1% of the members make them this way so the other 99% doesn't have any tutorials or references to help make their base's realistic&anatomically-correct). Sorry for the babbling there lol, but anyways just keep posting updates and saying what ya need help with so the community and I can help you make this base your own. 'Cos usually people here will try editing/re-creating/re-coloring it to make it how they want it. But it is your base so the end result should be what you want it to be ya know man? Welp i'm done haha, the icon looks very promising so far. Keep at it bro, you've gotta real piece of art here! |

No offence taken, i was simply showing you how to direct your light source, as for the stitches, they are meant to represent abs, anyway, thats what you get from quick edits.
