he asked for comments and crits, now, your enthousiasm surely is a delight to see, but perhaps you could be more constructive and precise in your criticism.
After all, telling you improved what he lacked doesn't help him. Instead, you could elaborate and say that the stance of his "base" wasn't very dynamic or that the proportions didn't make much sense and that the shading was off, seeing as those are the things you altered.

As stated in the rules and guidelines:

Constructive Criticism:

•Givers:
Be constructive; If you see something the creator could change, add, or remove to improve their piece, tell them, explain in specifics, and tell them why it would improve it.
Don't expect them to change the piece. Do not make posts that are simply bashing the artist and his piece with nothing constructive, or making posts that along the lines of “this is good.” These posts are not helpful at all to the artist and the former could lead to problems between members. Do not post off topic in other’s WIP or Showroom threads. It is rude and does not help the artist.

Editing & Redlining: Any piece placed in the blog is up for editing and redlining (using a copy of the piece with redline drawings on it to point out problems or suggestions). That said, those critisizing a piece are subject to the same expectations as verbal constructive critisism above as well as the expectation that you will be respectful of their work in a general sense. For example, you will be warned if you post an edit and simply write: 'fixed' (unless it's incredibly funny).

When youve been awake RPing on champloo for about 18 hours and its 5 am , typing is a real pain in the ass, didn't think someone would get upset over me doing a edit without saying anything else.

@Kai - How does it look like an alien?

How do you know he's a kid, stalker much?...btw it's done wrong. The perspective is way off and the body structure as well. I may not be a great pixel artist to show you what I mean but I can help with links with examples.

@Kaimana
Check out this to help you out with your perspective(if it's a 3/4ths perspective you're looking for, which I assume it is)

Honestly even though that perspective is "Correct" it really does not fit the real style and flow, it honestly looks extremely weird to me. And its not exactly done wrong i edited it to his basic way, i didn't want to change it that much, and body structure seems pretty accurate and balanced to me
Maybe this is more better to work with?
