All I'd say with the third one, since I think it looks best is to fix the foot shading as well as the armpits.

I like how DDog edited mine over the original, but the legs are still quite ugly.
This is suppose to be like the second frame of a split, right?
Otherwise, I would stick with my legs, not trying to sound pushy or anything but their structure/positioning is more "realistic" in a sense. Also, I would've kept my version of the abs, but kept a somewhat cleaner version of DDog's chest/arms.

Proportion wise the base is lanky and long limbed, Although the base is rather small there is still potential to keep it neat using soft colours, Not to be confused with using a shit load of colours for no reason that has seemed to be the case in E(the one i looked at)

Eh erm a simple way of putting this is, More definition use darker and more contrast colours, to hide, for touch ups like hiding outlines with AA, usually using more blending colours(NOT TO BLENDING)
didnt touch the arms shade, was to messy and not enough timee! :(

Used D-Dog's version.

-Added a lightsource.
-Took out un-needed colors.

You missed out the:
- Made arms back to front
- Added extra shade an thus inverting his legs
- Gave it feet hands and hand feet... yep

I like what you did to the abs though.

It looks good but it lacks a light source around the whole body.

I used the original colors and took out the ones that weren't needed.

Not to put anyone down but are you all taking in consideration that this is a base for a naruto game? You all keep posting these edits as if I'm a S rank iconer. I mean I'm skilled but as far as base editing im still a rookie. So Chris I like your edits but it looks like to much work for me to animate at will, and Blaze um dude your base looks more DBZ as well. If you look at a typical naruto character they are long and slim with minuscule muscle definition. All the abs and cockiness are too much and also makes more work for me and my team.

The legs arm stretched out because it shows the joints of the legs. Your legs are straight down with a calf. Legs normally have a space between them unless they are in like the service or something, also the shading is off in the legs where you have them split(like mines) and it pretty much shows the joints and calf.

EDIT:: I meant to say Jordans base was DBZ like, Blazes base looks pretty nice and the abs and torso look good. The legs idk but overall it looks nice.
