[WIP] Base

Well this is a Base I have been working on for Awhile but should I continue with It or should I keeping fixing the Line Art?

Any Tips or Comments Welcome as long as It's something to make the Base much Better.

Also do you think maybe I should add another color to it ?

Well before you jump to far ahead, the legs seem to be too straight and the neck too long, ears too pointy, and eyes too low. Just some minor things that >>I<< noticed. Perhaps others will think different..

Edit with most of your Comments but i Kept the Ears and Eyes because they seemed pretty Fine with me. Anymore Suggestions and Tips that would help make it better are Welcomed.

Other than the fact he's orange, I like it, don't like the pointy ears either.

I don't mean to sound picky, but he has no caffs, not saying to make them, it might look weird, but experiment with his legs a little more.

EDIT: I took the liberty, hope you don't mind, to show you what I'm seeing in the legs and face.

With pants added, your crotch should go lower, unless it is supposed to be a woman, and in your case it is a man.

I don't know why but the latest Version looks good I'm gonna start working on the Walking Phase and then in the Future if i see anything that need's Adjustments ill fix it Thanks all of you for your help.

Might I suggest a lighter skin palette? Here's one idea:
- Before
- After

...unless he really is standing that close to the sun. ;)

Your colours are far too orange, remember unless someone has over tanned or slapped the fake stuff we wont look like oranges.
So as a few people said your pallet is all funky and needs to be edited, Also on your proportion the the chest to head was HUGE! and also the ears came off a little elf like

No offense, but I'm gunna have to disagree, the head to chest ratio isn't that off, your chest is typically about 2x the length of your head. If anything his legs are too short. But, I do like the lighter skin tone! Not so much the way you shaded it though. If I had to pick one of the edits, I would pick Karaudo's.

Well, in those images the chest is clearly bigger than the head, by far, in my estimation 2x it. Lol

EDIT
I'm not sure, maybe your talking about width of the chest?

And you also have to realize BYOND has a 3/4 view, which would make the legs to appear a little shorter than usual if you're doing it right. This is because you're not looking straight at him, but more of in the middle of a top down view, and a side scroller view.

Lol Karaudo thanks for the edit but wasn't needed sorry i already changed the palette the only reason I used that Orange Palette was so I can see how the Base Outline works with the Palette you get what I mean ?

Thanks for the help but i don't think that Style would work to well with what I'm trying to do and the Ears from my point of view aren't so bad your forgetting people will have Hair so it won't show like it's shown bald.
