Hi, I've just started iconing recently, and I've been trying to make a decent boat. This is what I've got so far. C&C please? Thanks.

i added some basic shadows to show alittle depth,also reduced the contrast abit

You may want to consider a new pallet. I like how you have progressed so far.Try using different hues, and etc. Here's a pretty decent edit.



I mirrored on it though, just to make this fast. If you have questions on hue shifting, and things of that nature, there is a link on the front page to a section of free resources. Among those you can find a guide on hue shifting.

But yeah, that's lookin' pretty good and Reeex has given some sound advice. I'll be honest, I believe I've learned a little something here today as well.
