The gwabs team has thrown together a mini-game to play while Gwabs is being developed. It's just a little arcade platformer.

It's pretty fun, though a little hard at first.

They're still working out the kinks in the mini-game. Although they were unable to reproduce it when I was talking to them, on my computer, the full screen game wigs out while your playing it and all the platforms start flashing and disappearing. If you have this problem, either play using Windowed mode (there is a link for it in your start menu), or lower your resolution. Sometimes it did it in windowed mode as well when I had an especially high resolution. Full-screen also suffered low FPS on my computer.

If the game is way too hard, put more icons on your desktop and either play in windowed mode or in a low resolution.

Also note that when you jump as a platform is falling, the platform bounces back up. I didn't realize this at first and was dieing way too quickly.

See if you can beat my score of 700!

Gwabs Beta is expected to be released around March, which is more realistic than their earlier estimates.

They still want animators from the community! Send them a message if you're a good artist and want to draw characters for a percentage of the game's profits.
Not bad, but I really would have liked to see it use only my desktop items, no the darn build in outlook and IE pictures (Both of which have no place on my desktop).
Well, it is for windows, which is Microsoft as well :P
Good luck finding icons for Outlook or IE on my desktop. Hell, if it was an option I would remove IE and I have removed outlook express.
Hm, I'm tempted to play, but I don't use desktop shortcuts. Does that disqualify me? :P

I don't have IE on my desktop. Removed it a while back.
Sure, I have removed the icon, but I mean the program.
Oh, okay.
Hrm, I guess I'm pretty good at something, for a change.

My Gwabs Scores after a few rounds.

Heh, I suck. My high scores are 1450 and 950. Still fun though :D

They don't explain many of the mechanics but I believe you don't need any icons on your desktop, but she said something like if you put more icons on there will be more platforms.

The highest score I believe is kevdog (one of the programmers) at 15,000.
