hey I've been starting to create buildings, and I was wondering what you thought of my first building ever. I couldn't think of what to do with the door so I just added a gradient to it.
Here's one with a door that I thought might look nice
Here's one with a different colored roof
Please give me some helpful advice

First thing i would ask you to do before working on a building is state what perspective you are having the building including if it is going to be isometric or not, this is key. After this you should then continue to draw the building also choosing what direction the light is coming from and just color the image. Texture is also important but if you are working with pixel art, it can be hard to show texture so low detail is often not needed, I would show key details (Example: If the building is in a damaged state, apply cracks etc...) Take them into account before progressing.
