I was messing around trying to find a right grass style for the work I'm doing for a friend... I spent about 5 - 10 minutes working on different styles. I would like some feedback on how they look (the ones below) And any C&C, I'd also like pointers if you have any.

I found the ones I'm going to use, so I'm just asking for c&c and giving these to anyone who might possibly want them.

I don't really like the one on the bottom left...

Thanks in advance.

Cropping and changing a color isn't really the way to go for grass.

Try looking at this: http://pixel-zone.rpgdx.net/shtml/tutmini-grass.shtml

Uhhh... I didn't use photoshop, I used the Byond icon editor...

I wouldn't use filters...

I didn't crop and change colors...

What would make you think that?

And thanks for the link Macieki, I appreciate it, I'll look at it soon.

Do they atleast look good..? Should I add more shading into the grass nextime? Do they seem like they'd tile good..? Any more that someone could tell me? Thanks.

the Grass is kinda Flat o.o usually when you make grass you make it look a little more alive this looks like if you just use Photoshop and use noise filter and if you did do it on byond icon editor looks like you just sprinkled pixel over green. if i was your i would really read that link that was given..

Hmmm, yeah, I've made that kind of grass before, It doesn't appeal to me because it doesn't really look that great when tiled together. Thanks for the idea though. I appreciate the comment. I think I got an idea of a better way. I'll try when I get time. Thanks again. And any more suggestion would be very welcomed, because I love to improve.
