Fire...Ball?

The top I tried a bit of AA, to make it smooth, I think it turned out as more of a outline though.
C & C? Need some tips.

I like the shape and the palatte isn't bad, however instead of fading off to purple, i would fade off to brown.
when making a fire"blast" i would advise instead of using a sphere use a more spikey core.
Also try not to entirely fade it, use some of the darker colours next to the brighter colours, if you get what i mean :S ?

Yeah, I get what you are trying to say.

I'll try your suggestions out. They sound like they would help some. I like the idea of not fading it out completely, but throwing in some darker colors in with the light. Sounds more realistic.

Ill edit it when i find the time and motivation, which might be soon.
