I really hope that if it does happen in the future, that the mods will be stern and strict and not be afraid to pull out the ban-hammer Mjolnir when necessary. That render <font color = "blue">[monkey]</font> really pisses me off.

Btw, none of that is generally excepted either.

No leaks at all. No using brush tool because the edges become distorted, we don't want that look. I recommend using the pencil tool or anything that leaves things pixel by pixel. I also don't know about all these generations you seem to be making up, I don't think pixel art on it's own even has any. The last time I checked, if anything 3D was the next generation.
