Cliff look ok but need to shape it up cause on the end there no even.

But, ya did come here looking for help and opinion, right? Couple of things: 1) do what ya can to post in PNG or GIF because JPG has a tendency to change the pixels of your work and what we end up seeing isn't the original pic, 2) Try to post your work in img HTML tags so peoples don't hafta click thru to see it ( < img src="the url of your pic" /> ) -don't copy and paste that, type it in ). I've found imageshack works well for both of these (use the very bottom link imageshack gives you - the one that sez 'direct link' ). So...on the walls: it's a pretty good design. It's hard to tell what the texture actually is, tho (because jpgs change the texture). But the brickwork is pretty good :). It's also a little hard to tell where the floor is compared to the walls, but I suppose that's what you meant by making a background for it. I'd try using a different color for the floor, or possibly using different shades for both (lighter on the walls, darker on the floor). Also, you may want to outline the walls running N/S with a darker shade. Outlines can make things stand out/come forward to the viewer. Something like: (That light outline on the right side of the wall didn't work too well, but hopefully you see what I'm suggesting) Anyway, you're ahead of a lot of tilesets I've seen around BYOND. Thanks, ill try alot to improve some of these, i wasnt to sure how to make the image show up, thanks for telling =)
As for the improvements,Ill work on it soon as possibe. Ill repost it as a png file soon as i improve them more, shouldnt take to long to remap. |
