Requesting a Tutorial

I'm fed up with trying to find a pixel artist who can create turf art. So I decided to take a shot at it while waiting for someone to work for my game, if someone decides to. I want to have an alternative option, and I think this could work.

If anyone could post a link or something of how they learned to create turf art, I'd appreciate that.

Um...well, they're all about turfs, in that turf=tile.
If those are too general for ya, was there a specific tile that you needed info on?
