Other Platform or Similar Game to MLAAS?

Hi MLAAS forum,

MLAAS is one of my favorite games out there, even today.

I know typically nobody joins the game when it's hosted. However, will the game ever be hosted again?

Would Skysaw ever consider future development to the game. Or, does anyone know a game that is somewhat similar to MLAAS on another platform?

I actually still tinker with the game from time to time, but that's about it. It's a social game that lost its social aspect so there hasn't been much reason to put it live.

I'd be more than willing to host if a few people played, but since nobody joins it's just a waste of resources on the server.

I appreciate the gesture and logged on to mess around. I remember it as THE game to play over the weekend. However, the manual describes it best, "My Life as a Spy is a social game, and it is meant to be fun for those wishing to interact with others." Without a player base of at least 3-5, there's little incentive to play. Thanks again

This question's probably been asked to death years up until now, though I couldn't find context/information on that topic from admittedly a very brief search, but presumably there aren't any plans or an agreed policy/possibility (as the ownership appears to have shifted, to my knowledge) to make either the source code or the hosting files public?

Of course, there's no obligation to do so by the people who poured all the hard work into it. Albeit, this is a classic BYOND game and it'd be very unfortunate if at any point in the future it were lost to time and remain inaccessible.

Also, very wholesome and generous to have hosted the game for people to try out again. Though I'd also been interested in doing such, I probably wouldn't find a timeslot for such (and as a result don't want to trouble/burden with asking for a similar favor).

Though inactive (at least compared to many years ago) and sporadically hosted, I hope there doesn't come a time where it's never playable again.

I hope to play this again one day and introduce new friends to old fun =). "There once was a white spy who carried a stick. He let out a breathe and I felt a small prick." I probably failed at remembering that tip. That one caused me to fail the test.... cause I copy pasted it into chat without thinking xD

Hey everyone--if there is general interest-- maybe we can schedule a MLaaS session? For example, some time on Saturday or Sunday afternoon EST? That we way we do our best to guarantee enough players for a fun session.
