Basically they are burned to death by their own flames. Also I shot a few arrows at them and no dmg was displayed.

The arrows doing no damage is intentional. They don't take damage from certain attack types, so that's not a bug just an unpolished feature. In the future, please post two separate tickets for different bugs and unexpected behaviours.
