That happened in my grandmother's clock. She has hundreds of dead roaches in the LED display.

I've heard that insects are attracted to electronic devices... Something about the electromagnetic waves they give off, or something... I think it was on the episode of Dirty Jobs (love that show!) where he was working with the exterminators to clean the roaches out of a disgusting trailer... The roaches were swarming around stuff like alarm clocks and the cordless phone charger...

Yeah. My brother has to repair this one guy's computer every few months because roaches crawl inside and eventually one crawls across the motherboard and gets zapped. This leads to a dead motherboard and one nasty mess.

The brown oval in the center is the bug
